About the Role:
As an Executive / Senior Executive – Finance & Business Advisory, you will work closely with the CFO Pulse team and our clients on a wide range of financial and business-related assignments.
The role will provide exposure to multiple businesses, industries, financial situations, and management decision-making.
You will be expected to not only understand “what the numbers are”, but also analyse “why they are the way they are” and help translate financial information into actionable business insights.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Reporting & MIS
Preparation and analysis of MIS and management reports
Financial statement preparation and analysis
Tracking key financial and business performance indicators
Identifying trends, variances, and areas requiring management attention
2. FP&A- Financial Planning & Analysis
Budgeting and forecasting
Financial planning and performance tracking
Variance analysis- actuals vs. budget/forecast
Supporting management with financial insights for decision-making
3. Cash Flow & Working Capital
Cash flow planning and monitoring
Working capital analysis
Receivables, payables and inventory analysis
Identifying opportunities to improve cash conversion and liquidity
4. Profitability & Business Analysis
Product/service/customer profitability analysis
Cost and margin analysis
Identifying profitability improvement opportunities
Supporting business performance reviews
5. Finance & Business Advisory
Working on financial and strategic projects for clients
Supporting business owners and management teams with financial insights
Identifying gaps in financial processes and controls
Supporting process improvement and finance function strengthening
6. Financial Modelling & Strategic Projects
Developing financial models and business scenarios
Supporting investment and expansion-related analysis
Assisting in strategic finance projects and management presentations
7. Accounting & Compliance
Review and understanding of accounting processes
GST and TDS compliance knowledge
Coordination/support for statutory and financial reporting requirements
Who Are We Looking For?
We are looking for candidates who have a strong interest in Finance, Business Analysis and Advisory and are keen to work in a dynamic, client-facing environment.
Educational Qualification:
CA – Inter / Final
CMA – Inter / Final / Pursuing
MBA – Finance
B.Com / M.Com with relevant experience
Preferred Skills:
Strong understanding of financial statements and financial analysis
Advanced MS Excel
Knowledge of GST & TDS
Good understanding of budgeting, forecasting and cash flow
Financial modelling skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
Ability to work independently and take ownership
