Role Description
The Finance Accounting Intern role at MyWall is a full-time, on-site position based in Gurugram. The intern will support day-to-day finance and accounting operations, including assisting with the preparation and review of financial statements, recording transactions, and maintaining accurate ledgers. Responsibilities include working with accounting software to process invoices, expense reports, and reconciliations, as well as supporting month-end and year-end closing activities. The intern will help analyze financial data, prepare basic reports, and contribute to budgeting and forecasting tasks under the guidance of senior team members. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, communicating findings clearly, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and relevant accounting standards.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess fundamental knowledge of Finance and the ability to understand and work with Financial Statements.
Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, identify trends, and support decision-making.
Candidates should possess familiarity with Accounting Software and basic accounting processes such as bookkeeping and reconciliations.
Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication for reporting and collaboration.
Candidates should ideally be pursuing or have recently completed a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
Candidates should possess attention to detail, integrity in handling financial information, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in spreadsheets (e.g., Excel or Google Sheets) and an interest in the digital media or creator economy will be considered beneficial.
