Senior Associate

Title of the Position: Senior Associate- Technical (Advance Chemistry Cell (ACC)) (On Contract)
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Chemical/Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics Engineering or Master’s degree in Sciences/Technology/Engineering in related field.
Experience & Skills required:
For Bachelor's degree in Chemical/Electrical/Electronics Engineering- 05 years.
Master's degree in Sciences/Technology/Engineering in related field - 04 Years
Experience should include Advanced Chemistry Cell, Energy storage, manufacturing/research in the field of emerging technologies of batteries, energy storage, batteries, electric mobility, or similar activities.
Key Objectives and Responsibilities:
Should have sound understanding on entire ecosystem of Advanced Chemistry Cells (ACC) including expertise in innovative solutions in the related field.
Should have a sound understanding of chemistry, materials science, electrochemical engineering principles. The expert will be involved in characterization of advanced chemistry cells, validating raw materials and processes for its end-use.
Well versed with the complete Manufacturing process flow especially in battery field.
Well versed with plant facility / machinery & equipment required (line set up) for manufacturing of cells.
Good knowledge of the constituent components (cathode, Anode, Electrolyte, separator, etc.) of batteries, its properties.
Well versed with different categories of existing & upcoming testing parameters (Energy Density, Life Cycle, Depth of Discharge, C-Rate, EOL, accelerated ageing method, etc.). Capability of analysing the reports on Quality checks and Functional Testing by Laboratories.
Well versed with existing and emerging technologies on ACC, its pros cons, its providers, market players/leaders, etc.
Able to calculate/monitor Domestic Value Addition in cells and identifying recommending appropriate solution to form a policy.
Perform periodic audit of the manufacturing processes and testing agencies in order to identify key observations, inputs, suggestions on technical parameters as required for compliance of PLI ACC scheme.
Updated with latest changing trends, emerging technology across the globe and also keep tab on local research papers / journals published from time to time in the field of ACC. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
