About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer to help shape the core product experience for a trading platform. The product surface is expanding quickly, with 10+ tools being developed across multiple product pods. Your job will be to ensure these experiences feel like one intelligent platform rather than a collection of disconnected features. You’ll work closely with our Product Managers, founders, and engineers to build the design system, simplify complex financial workflows, and shape new products from the earliest stages. This is a highly hands-on role for someone who enjoys complex B2C products, information-dense interfaces, fast iteration, and strong ownership.
What You’ll Own
Build and evolve TRADL’s design system across components, tokens, themes, typography, colour, and interaction patterns.
Design production-ready experiences across 10+ product surfaces, including screeners, charts, option chains, strategy builders, and AI copilots.
Create a unified product experience across multiple product pods so the platform feels consistent end to end.
Define AI-native interaction patterns for natural-language queries, generated insights, and code-backed outputs.
Simplify complex financial data and trading workflows into clear, intuitive interfaces.
Lead user research and usability testing with retail traders and bring those insights directly into product decisions.
Benchmark leading products across Indian brokers, global trading platforms, and crypto to identify and improve on strong UX patterns.
Bring a clear design point of view and help resolve product and interaction decisions with research, data, and strong reasoning.
Work closely with PMs, founders, and engineers from early product thinking through final implementation.
Ensure the quality of what ships by closing the gap between design specs and production.
You’ll Be a Great Fit If
You’ve designed and shipped B2C products at meaningful scale, ideally products with millions of users or downloads.
You have experience designing fintech, trading, investing, payments, or other information-dense products.
Your portfolio demonstrates strength in complex UI, including dashboards, tables, charts, multi-state workflows, or transaction flows.
You’ve built or meaningfully contributed to a design system or component library.
You’re comfortable running your own user interviews and usability research.
You can move quickly without sacrificing product thinking or craft.
You have strong opinions but can support them with research, data, or product reasoning.
You think beyond individual screens and care about brand, visual language, tonality, and the overall product experience.
You enjoy working closely with PMs and engineers rather than operating as a downstream design function.
