Company Description Protein Pantry is redefining India’s frozen food category - with its high-protein, low-calorie vegetarian range.
Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Quality Assurance/Control Manager role based in New Delhi. The person in this position will oversee quality systems across the production process, ensuring that all products meet internal standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations. Daily responsibilities include monitoring and validating production quality controls, implementing and updating quality procedures, conducting inspections and internal audits, and supervising testing of raw materials and finished products. The role also involves investigating non-conformities, coordinating corrective and preventive actions, training team members on quality and GMP practices, and maintaining documentation for certifications and regulatory compliance. Collaboration with production, procurement, and product development teams is essential to continuously improve quality, food safety, and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Quality Control and Quality Assurance for food or FMCG manufacturing environments.
Candidates should possess experience in Quality Management, including setting quality standards, managing SOPs, and driving continuous improvement.
Candidates should possess knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and related food safety standards or certifications (such as FSSAI, HACCP, ISO 22000).
Candidates should possess proficiency in Quality Auditing, including planning, executing, and documenting internal and external audits.
Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree/ master's in Food Technology, Food Science, Microbiology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and familiarity with quality metrics, testing methods, and root cause analysis.
Effective communication and leadership abilities to train teams, enforce standards, and collaborate across departments.
Experience in vegetarian or protein-rich food production, or in a similar food manufacturing setup, is an advantage.
