### Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP PP/MM professional with strong manufacturing-domain knowledge to work as a Plant-Level System Controller. The candidate will drive SAP adoption across Production Planning and Materials Management, ensure complete process mapping and strengthen system governance at the plant.
The role focuses on replacing manual and Excel-based processes with standard SAP functionality to improve plant digitalization, data accuracy and operational control.
### Key Responsibilities
**SAP PP/MM Functional Leadership**
* Act as the Plant SAP PP/MM System Controller.
* Ensure complete utilization of standard SAP PP and MM functionalities.
* Configure and optimize MRP, demand planning, production orders and scheduling.
* Manage BOMs, routings, work centres and capacity planning.
* Support batch management, inventory, procurement and vendor-management processes.
* Maintain data governance across Material Master, BOM, Routing and Vendor Master.
**Manufacturing Process Mapping and Digitalization**
* Map all plant processes in SAP.
* Eliminate manual registers and Excel-based tracking.
* Standardize production planning, raw-material issuance and WIP tracking.
* Control finished-goods confirmation, rejection, scrap and subcontracting processes.
* Identify and close gaps between physical processes and SAP transactions.
* Drive automation and system-based controls.
**System Governance and Control**
* Ensure SAP transactional discipline across plant operations.
* Monitor open production orders and pending confirmations.
* Identify and resolve stock mismatches.
* Monitor MRP exception messages.
* Drive real-time data capture on the shop floor.
* Ensure system accuracy and audit compliance.
**Continuous Improvement and Rollout**
* Implement SAP PP/MM best practices.
* Train plant users and supervisors.
* Lead the rollout of new SAP functionalities.
* Coordinate with the IT team for system enhancements.
* Support production closing, month-end activities and inventory reconciliation.
**Cross-Functional Coordination**
* Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Stores, Quality and Finance.
* Manage the system impact of inventory and costing activities.
* Act as a bridge between Plant Operations and IT.
### Required Qualifications
* Graduate or Engineer; Mechanical, Production or Industrial Engineering preferred.
* SAP PP/MM certification preferred.
* 6–12 years of experience in manufacturing and SAP PP/MM.
* Experience in discrete or process manufacturing.
* SAP S/4HANA experience will be an added advantage.
