About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Manager, Pricing to lead bid pricing, commercial modelling, and pricing intelligence across complex, multi-location deals. This role plays a critical part in shaping competitive, data-driven pricing strategies and ensuring consistency, accuracy, and profitability across regions.
The ideal candidate combines strong commercial acumen, advanced analytical modelling, and stakeholder influence, with the ability to operate at pace during live bids and negotiations.
Key Responsibilities
Bid Pricing & Consolidation:
Establish baseline station pricing at the start of each RFP cycle
Own pricing data collection from regional/station teams using a standardised global template
Validate and challenge pricing inputs against benchmarks and pricing libraries
Consolidate multi-location inputs into a single, coherent global bid model
Identify variances and escalate for resolution where required
Business Case Development & Trade-offs:
Build and challenge end-to-end pro-forma financial models across the contract lifecycle
Conduct scenario and sensitivity analysis (volume, mix, FX, cost drivers)
Model commercial levers such as:
• Rebates
• Discounts
• Sign-on incentives
• Bundled pricing structures
Support live deal negotiations with rapid scenario re-runs and analysis
Pricing Intelligence & Analytics:
Build and maintain a central pricing library / rate repository across customers and regions
Drive pricing consistency and knowledge reuse across bids
Leverage automation and advanced analytics (incl. Gen-AI where applicable) to:
• Improve pricing accuracy
• Scale pricing intelligence
• Enable faster turnaround of bid models
Partner with Finance to co-own pricing frameworks and margin guardrails
Process Improvement & Governance:
Establish and enforce standard pricing methodologies and governance practices
Improve turnaround time and accuracy of bid pricing deliverables
Ensure alignment between regional pricing inputs and global pricing strategy
Continuously enhance tools, templates, and modelling approaches
Stakeholder Management:
Partner closely with:
• Regional commercial and station teams
• Finance (business case validation and margins)
• Deal / solution architects
Act as a constructive challenger, bringing data-driven insights to decision-making
Support leadership with clear, quantitative storytelling for pricing decisions
Key Success Metrics
Accuracy and timeliness of pro-forma pricing models
Consistency and coverage of station pricing baselines
Effective identification and resolution of pricing variances
Adherence to agreed SLAs during live bid and negotiation cycles
Growth and utilisation of pricing library / rate database
Candidate Profile
Experience
•~10–14 years of experience in pricing, commercial finance, or bid modelling roles
Background in aviation, logistics, technology or complex multi-element pricing environments preferred
Experience working across multi-regions or global pricing structures
Technical & Analytical Skills
Advanced proficiency in financial modelling and scenario analysis (Excel or equivalent tools)
Ability to work with large, complex datasets across multiple systems
Strong understanding of:
• Cost structures
• Pricing strategies
• Margin optimisation
Exposure to automation, advanced analytics, or AI-driven pricing tools is a plus
Leadership & Functional Skills
Strong commercial acumen with a data-driven decision mindset
Ability to manage complexity and operate under tight timelines (RFP cycles)
Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and consistency
Strong communication skills with the ability to translate data into clear insights
