Role Description The Human Resources Assistant at HummingBird will support day-to-day HR operations and help ensure a positive employee experience in our Chennai office. This full-time, on-site role includes maintaining employee records, assisting with onboarding and offboarding, and coordinating training and development activities. The Human Resources Assistant will help administer benefits, support HRIS data updates, and assist with payroll-related documentation as needed. The role also involves responding to employee inquiries, preparing HR reports, and supporting HR projects and initiatives aligned with company policies and local regulations. Collaboration with HR management, hiring teams, and other internal stakeholders is essential to maintain accurate documentation and smooth HR processes.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Human Resources (HR) and HR Management to support core HR operations and policies.
Candidates should possess skills in Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) for accurate data entry, maintenance, and reporting.
Candidates should possess skills in Benefits Administration to assist with enrollment, queries, and documentation.
Candidates should possess skills in Training to help coordinate learning programs and onboarding sessions.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Effective written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative and service-oriented approach.
Knowledge of basic HR practices, employment laws, and compliance requirements in India.
Prior experience in an HR support or HR coordinator role and a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field are preferred.
