Role Description The Human Resources Assistant at HummingBird will support day-to-day HR operations and help ensure a positive, consistent experience for team members across the organization. This full-time, on-site role is based in Bengaluru and involves maintaining employee records, assisting with onboarding and offboarding processes, and supporting benefits administration. The role includes coordinating training activities, scheduling HR-related meetings, and preparing documentation and reports using HRIS and other tools. The Human Resources Assistant will collaborate closely with HR leadership on recruitment coordination, employee engagement initiatives, and compliance with HR policies and procedures. This position requires strong attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
Qualifications
Strong foundational knowledge of Human Resources (HR) and HR Management, with the ability to support core HR processes and policies.
Experience working with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) to maintain accurate employee data and generate basic reports.
Understanding of Benefits Administration, including assisting employees with enrollment, updates, and related inquiries.
Ability to support Training activities, such as coordinating sessions, managing schedules, and tracking participation.
Relevant education such as a bachelor’s degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Strong organizational, time management, and documentation skills, with high accuracy and attention to detail.
Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
Comfort working in a technology-driven environment; experience with AI-enabled or SaaS platforms is an advantage.
Awareness of basic employment laws and HR compliance practices; prior experience in an HR support role is preferred.
