Role Description: The Head of Technical Recruitment is a full-time, on-site role based in Indore, MP, responsible for leading and scaling HummingBird’s technical hiring strategy across engineering, product, data, and IT functions. This role oversees the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle, including workforce planning, role scoping, sourcing, interviewing, offer management, and onboarding for technical positions. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing and mentoring a recruiting team, setting performance metrics, collaborating with hiring managers to define ideal candidate profiles, and ensuring an inclusive, high-quality candidate experience. The Head of Technical Recruitment will leverage HummingBird’s AI-driven platform and analytics to build data-informed hiring strategies, optimize pipelines, and continuously improve recruitment processes. The role also involves partnering with leadership on employer branding, talent market insights, and long-term workforce planning to support company growth.
Qualifications
Demonstrated expertise in Technology Recruitment and Technical Recruiting for roles such as software engineering, data science, DevOps, and product development.
Strong experience in IT Recruitment and general Recruiting, including full-cycle hiring processes and stakeholder management.
Proven success in Hiring strategy and decision-making, including designing interview processes, assessment frameworks, and offer negotiation.
Leadership experience managing and developing recruitment teams, with the ability to set goals, track performance, and coach for results.
Comfort using AI-driven recruitment tools, ATS/VMS platforms, and analytics to drive data-backed talent decisions.
Excellent communication, relationship-building, and collaboration skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Track record of building inclusive hiring practices and diverse talent pipelines.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Technology, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered.
Experience leading technical recruitment in a high-growth technology or SaaS environment is highly beneficial.
