Job Overview: Provide 24×7 hands & feet onsite support for Data Center equipment at DC
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform physical racking, stacking, and cable patching for network devices.
• Support routine hardware maintenance, replacements, and vendor visits.
• Monitor local DC alerts and escalate to L2 engineers.
• Maintain inventory of cables, patch panels, and network racks.
• Ensure compliance with DC operational safety and access guidelines.
• Prepare operational reports, capacity/utilization inputs and service metrics.
• Ensure SLA compliance, audit readiness and RBI/security policy adherence.
• Maintain SOPs, runbooks, KB articles and operational documentation.
• Coordinate with OEMs/vendors and internal teams for issue resolution.
• Support DR drills, patching, vulnerability remediation and preventive maintenance.
• Participate in RCA preparation for Priority incidents.
• Follow Incident, Problem, Change and Service Request Management processes.
• Perform daily physical equipment health checks and media/tape handling where applicable.
• Maintain visitor/material movement registers and support vendor escort activities.
Technical Skills: Networking basics (LAN/WAN), cabling, DC operations, ITSM ticket logging.
Certifications: Preferred: ITIL Foundation; Nice to have: CCNA
Coverage Model: Onsite 24×7 (shift-based), DC Mumbai
