Digital Applications SME
Hyderabad (full time in their office, no hybrid setup allowed)
INR 25-30 Lpa
Full time, on site. Pharmaceutical manufacturer. Reports to the Digital Apps Lead.
This is the functional and technical owner for a set of business applications running across HR, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, Service and Legal. You would sit between the business process owners and IT, taking a requirement from the department, turning it into a functional spec, and staying with it through design, testing, deployment, validation and post go-live support.
The platform estate is mixed rather than one suite. Depending on your domain you would own something in HRMS (Darwinbox, PeopleStrong, SuccessFactors), CRM (Salesforce, Zoho, Freshsales), supply chain planning (Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, SAP IBP) or finance and procurement (GEP, Coupa, Ariba). Integration with SAP and the other core systems is part of the job, as is master data harmonisation and interface error resolution.
It is a pharma environment, so validation is not optional. You would contribute to data integrity processes under GxP and 21 CFR Part 11, maintain change control documentation, and take part in audits, CAPA and system validation. Application KPIs on availability, performance, adoption and compliance readiness are yours to monitor and report.
There is also a reporting and adoption side. Dashboards through Power BI, SAC, Tableau or the product's own analytics, plus end user training and helpdesk support.
What we need
3 to 6 years in digital or business applications management, or functional consulting, in pharma or manufacturing
Real depth in one or two platform areas from the list above, hands on with configuration, user management and integration
MBA alongside a bachelor's in IT, Computer Science or equivalent
Documentation discipline, and the ability to write a requirement a vendor can actually build from
