Freelance Opportunity – Workday Lease Accounting Consultant / Financials SME

We are looking for an experienced Freelance Workday Lease Accounting Consultant / Workday Financials SME for a project involving Workday Lease Accounting implementation, LeaseQuery migration, reconciliation, testing, and post-go-live support.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
Configure and support Workday Lease Accounting for real estate, equipment, vehicles, copiers, etc.
Handle ASC 842 requirements, including modifications, remeasurements, renewals and terminations.
Lead LeaseQuery → Workday migration, including mapping, conversion, reconciliation and cutover.
Configure GL, Business Assets, Supplier Accounts, Worktags, Spend Categories and Account Posting Rules.
Reconcile ROU assets, lease liabilities, lease schedules and GL balances.
Execute Unit Testing, SIT, UAT, Regression Testing and Production Deployment.
Support month-end close, reporting, production issues and enhancements.
Act as the Workday Financials / Lease Accounting SME and collaborate with Finance,
Accounting, AP, Procurement and technical teams.
