🎯 The Role
As an Admissions Counsellor, you’ll be the person students and parents trust when making one of their biggest decisions.
You’ll understand their academic background, career ambitions, budget and preferences, then help them identify the right university + programme + pathway in the UAE.
Success in this role means more than hitting admission numbers. It means students choosing with confidence, applications moving smoothly, and families feeling they had someone genuinely looking out for them.
You’ll also play an important role in Flint’s larger mission: making UAE higher education easier to discover, understand and access for Indian students.
🔥 What You’ll Do
Counsel students and parents on higher-education opportunities in the UAE.
Understand student profiles, academic backgrounds, career goals and preferences to recommend suitable programmes.
Explain UAE universities, programmes, admission requirements, tuition fees, scholarships and career pathways clearly.
Manage the student journey from first conversation → university shortlisting → application → admission.
Follow up with prospective students and keep them engaged throughout the decision-making process.
Build strong relationships with students, parents and university representatives.
Maintain accurate records of leads, counselling conversations, applications and follow-ups.
Stay updated on UAE universities, new programmes, admission cycles and education trends.
Work closely with the Flint team to improve the student experience and conversion journey.
Consistently work towards counselling, application and admission targets.
🧠 What We’re Looking For
1–3 years of experience in admissions counselling, education consulting, study abroad or a related field.
Basic to good knowledge of UAE universities and higher education is strongly preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong listening and counselling abilities—you should know how to ask the right questions, not just give answers.
Ability to understand a student's goals and translate them into practical education options.
Comfortable speaking with both students and parents.
Strong follow-up, organisation and relationship-management skills.
Comfortable working with targets and a fast-moving team.
Good working knowledge of CRM systems, WhatsApp, email and basic digital tools.
Positive attitude, ownership and serious hunger to learn.
