The mandate
You will be the founders' right hand and the operational spine of the founder's office. You will own their
time, their inbox, their schedule, and their follow-throughs — making sure the founders are always
prepared, on time, and focused on what matters most. This is the core of the role, and getting it right is
what earns trust.
Beyond the executive-assistant core, you will sit in on key meetings and pitches, support the projects that
shape the organisation's growth, and act as the connective tissue between the founders and the rest of
the business. You will also work closely with the Admin manager to keep office, travel, and operational
logistics running smoothly. It is a high-trust, high-exposure role — discretion is non-negotiable, priorities
shift with the business, and the expectation is that you anticipate needs and stay two steps ahead.
What you will own
• The founders' time. Own calendars, scheduling, and prioritisation across competing demands.
Protect deep-work time and make sure the founders are always in the right room at the right time,
fully prepped.
• Inbox and communications. Manage and triage the founders' inbox, draft and respond on their
behalf, and make sure nothing slips through the cracks.
• Travel and logistics. Plan and coordinate travel, meetings, and events end to end — itineraries,
bookings, and every on-ground detail.
• Meetings and pitches. Be in the room. Prepare the material, capture decisions and action items, and
drive the follow-through so nothing important is dropped.
• Coordination and follow-through. Be the point of contact between the founders and internal teams,
clients, and partners, working hand in hand with the Admin manager on logistics. Chase, unblock,
and close loops.
• Strategic and project support. Support founder-level priorities — research, briefs, decks, and moving
projects from idea to execution.
You are a strong fit if you have
• 1–2 years of experience as an executive assistant, in a founder's office, in operations, or a similar
high-ownership support role.
• Exceptional organisation — you juggle many moving parts without dropping any, and you stay calm
under pressure.
• Discretion and trustworthiness — you will handle sensitive information and confidential decisions
every day.
• Sharp communication — clear, professional, and warm, in writing and in person.
• Proactivity and ownership — you anticipate needs, spot what matters, and move without being
asked.
• A postgraduate degree or MBA — this is a requirement, not a preference.
• Genuine curiosity across functions — strategy, brand, commerce, operations, people — because this
role touches all of them.
How we work
In-office in Mumbai, five days a week. Direct line to founders. Decisions made in the room, not in
week-long Slack threads. We push hard on output and protect deep-work time. We expect candour,
kindness, and a bias to ship.
What we offer
• A front-row seat to how a business is built — working side by side with the founders every day.
• Exposure across strategy, brand, commerce, and operations — you will see and touch all of it.
• Real responsibility and trust from day one.
• A clear growth path — from the founder's office into a strategy, operations, or leadership role as the
organisation scales.
• Annual learning and conference budget.
• 21 days paid leave plus public holidays.
• A central Mumbai office and a team that takes the work seriously without taking itself too seriously
