Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Team Leader Student Counsellor role based in Ahmedabad. The Team Leader Student Counsellor will oversee a team of student counsellors, ensuring high-quality guidance for students seeking international education opportunities. Daily responsibilities include mentoring and supporting counsellors, monitoring student case progress, and ensuring compliance with company processes and regulatory requirements. The role involves conducting student consultations, reviewing academic profiles, recommending suitable courses and institutions, and coordinating with internal departments and external partners. The Team Leader will also be responsible for performance tracking, reporting, and contributing to process improvements and training initiatives.
Qualifications
Strong leadership and team management skills, including mentoring, performance monitoring, and conflict resolution.
Excellent student counselling and advisory skills, with experience in education or migration consulting preferred.
Solid communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to explain complex processes clearly and empathetically.
Organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail in documentation, case handling, and follow-up.
Knowledge of overseas education pathways, admission processes, and visa-related requirements is highly beneficial.
Proficiency in basic office software and CRM or case management systems to manage student records and reports.
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Management, or a related field; advanced qualifications are an advantage.
Demonstrated commitment to ethical practice, client confidentiality, and culturally sensitive service.
