About Position:
We are seeking a highly skilled Network / Security Engineer at the L3 level to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in enterprise network engineering and security operations, with strong expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, highly available network infrastructures. This role requires deep technical knowledge, strong troubleshooting skills, and a proactive approach to security and operational excellence.

What You'll Do:
Design, configure, and maintain enterprise-grade network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, and data center networks.
Manage routers, switches, load balancers, and network segmentation technologies including VLANs, VRFs, NAT, ACLs, Port Channels, and High Availability configurations.
Configure and troubleshoot dynamic routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, and QoS implementations.
Deploy, configure, and maintain network security solutions including Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW), VPN gateways, IDS/IPS, and Web Application Firewalls (WAF).
Define, implement, and enforce network security policies, access controls, and security standards.
Conduct vulnerability assessments, security reviews, risk analysis, and remediation planning.
Monitor network and security infrastructure to ensure availability, performance, and security compliance.
Perform firmware upgrades, patch management, configuration backups, and disaster recovery preparedness activities.
Troubleshoot complex network and security incidents using packet captures, log analysis, and monitoring tools.
Collaborate with Security, Infrastructure, Cloud, Application, and Operations teams to resolve cross-functional issues.
Develop and maintain network architecture documentation, security standards, operational procedures, and configurations.
Support audit, compliance, and governance requirements across enterprise environments.
Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on network performance, security posture, and operational efficiency.
Expertise You'll Bring:
8 to 12 years of experience in Network Engineering and Security Operations.
Strong expertise in LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, and Data Center networking.
Deep understanding of Routing & Switching, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, QoS, VLANs, VRFs, NAT, ACLs.
Hands-on experience with enterprise firewall and security platforms such as Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, Cisco ASA, Cisco Firepower.
Strong experience with VPN technologies, IDS/IPS, and WAF solutions.
Expertise in packet capture analysis using Wireshark or similar tools.
Experience performing network troubleshooting, performance analysis, and root cause investigations.
Strong understanding of network security principles, access controls, and segmentation strategies.
Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards including ISO 27001, PCI-DSS.
Experience implementing and enforcing security policies and controls.
Strong documentation, reporting, and governance skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in high-pressure environments.
Experience with disaster recovery planning and business continuity initiatives.
Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud networking and hybrid cloud security.
Familiarity with SIEM platforms and security monitoring solutions.
Experience with vulnerability management and threat detection tools.
Knowledge of Data Center networking architectures.
Experience with F5 Load Balancers and application delivery technologies.
Security certifications such as PCNSE, CCNP Security, CCIE Security, Equivalent industry certifications.
