We’re Hiring for Research & Strategic Initiatives Intern.
JobsUPI is looking for interns to work with the Strategy team on a research project focused on rural labour markets, workforce availability and worker migration across India.

What You’ll Work On
We have already conducted secondary research across selected districts. Your role will be to validate and build on it through primary research.
Primary Research: Speak with Sarpanchs/Pradhans and other local stakeholders through structured calls to validate village- and block-level data.
Chain of Contacts: Find contact details of Development Officers, journalists, NGOs, SHGs, local organisations and other relevant stakeholders, reach out to them and gather insights about assigned districts.
Data & Analysis: Organise the information collected and analyse and compare blocks and districts to identify patterns, insights and recommendations.
What We’re Looking For
Strong communication and outreach skills.
Comfortable speaking to people you have never interacted with.
Ability to find relevant contacts, initiate conversations and follow up.
Good research and organisational skills.
Interest in data analysis, research or strategy.
Ability to commit for the full project duration.
What You’ll Gain
