Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Inventory Manager role based in Thane. The Inventory Manager will oversee daily inventory control activities, including monitoring stock levels, reconciling physical counts with system records, and ensuring accurate documentation of incoming and outgoing goods. Responsibilities include coordinating with warehouse and transportation teams to maintain optimal stock availability, minimizing shrinkage and stock discrepancies, and implementing inventory management procedures aligned with company standards. The role involves analyzing inventory data to identify trends, preparing regular reports for management, and supporting process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy. The Inventory Manager will also collaborate with internal stakeholders and clients to resolve inventory-related issues, maintain clear communication, and uphold high levels of service quality and compliance.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Inventory Management and Inventory Control skills, with experience in warehouse or logistics operations.
Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret inventory data, identify root causes of discrepancies, and support decision-making.
Candidates should possess effective Communication and Customer Service skills to collaborate with internal teams and external clients.
Familiarity with inventory or warehouse management systems and basic proficiency in MS Excel or similar tools is beneficial.
Prior experience in logistics, transportation, C&F, or FMCG/industrial warehousing environments is preferred.
Ability to work on-site in Thane, manage multiple priorities, and maintain accuracy under time constraints.
Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field is an advantage.
