Role Description This full-time Design Engineer role is an on-site position based in Tamil Nadu, India. The Design Engineer will be responsible for developing and optimizing product designs, preparing detailed drawings and 3D models using CAD tools, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet performance, safety, and regulatory requirements. Daily tasks include reviewing specifications, performing basic engineering calculations, participating in design reviews, and supporting prototyping and testing activities. The role also involves documenting design changes, coordinating with manufacturing and quality teams, and contributing to continuous improvement of design standards and processes.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering and familiarity with core engineering principles.
Proficiency in Design Engineering and Product Design, including concept development and design optimization.
Hands-on experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software for 2D drawings and 3D modeling.
Basic understanding of Electrical Engineering concepts relevant to integrated mechanical–electrical systems.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering, or a related discipline.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, standards, and specifications, with attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong problem-solving skills, analytical mindset, and ability to work both independently and within a team.
Effective communication skills for collaborating with engineering, production, and quality teams.
Experience with manufacturing processes, materials selection, or product lifecycle management is an advantage.
Willingness to work on-site in Tamil Nadu, India, and adapt to a fast-paced engineering environment.
