Product Strategy Lead

Why this role exists
We're building Venmogh, an AI Chief Strategy Officer for founder-led companies in the 1-50M euro revenue range.
The product works. The technology is in place.
What I need now is someone who can answer a harder question than "does it run":
Does it actually earn a place in a founder's decision-making?
That's not an engineering question.
It's a validation and market question, and it needs someone who has sat on both sides of it: someone who understands what real strategy work looks like, and who knows how to take an early SaaS product through the messy, honest process of finding product-market fit.
What you'll actually do
Own product validation end-to-end. Talk to founders in our target segment, watch them use Venmogh, and tell me plainly where the product's strategic outputs are credible and where they fall short.
Run the research that shapes the roadmap: market sizing, ICP refinement, competitive landscape, and pricing validation for the founder-led segment we serve.
Turn what you learn into product direction. You won't just report findings; you'll help decide what we build, cut, and reposition.
Pressure-test the product's strategy outputs against what a good human CSO or strategy consultant would produce. If Venmogh's advice wouldn't survive a board meeting, I want to know before a customer does.
Work directly with me. No layers, no committees. You'll have real influence on where this product goes.
Take on client engagements through our consulting services. Alongside the product work, you'll deliver strategy engagements for real clients. This isn't a side duty; it's how you stay sharp on what founders actually struggle with, and every engagement doubles as field research for Venmogh.
Who I think you are
You've done real strategy work: consulting, corporate strategy, or an operating CSO/strategy role. You know what separates a useful strategic recommendation from a generic one.
You've also lived through EarlyStage product life: customer discovery, validation loops, roadmap trade-offs, and the discipline of killing features that don't earn their keep.
You're comfortable being the skeptic in the room. This role is worthless if you tell me what I want to hear.
You can work independently across time zones and communicate clearly in writing.
A plus, not a requirement: exposure to AI products, the European Mittelstand or Indian SME market, or B2B SaaS pricing work.
How the engagement works
We start with a paid engagement: A retainer or salary, scoped so both of us can evaluate the fit with real work rather than interviews.
Your time will split between Venmogh product work and client consulting engagements: We'll agree the exact balance together based on the pipeline.
If it becomes clear you're the person who should be driving this product with me long term, we'll talk seriously about partnership, including equity.
I'm not dangling that as a hook; it's genuinely how I'd like this to evolve if the fit is right.
