About TRINANCE
TRINANCE is a financial education platform making finance more accessible, practical, and engaging. Our newsletter is the core of what we do we simplify investing and personal finance for a growing readership. Around it, we're building a mobile app and web experiences that help people learn, explore, and make better financial decisions.
We're early-stage, which means the products you work on are real, live, and still being shaped.
The role
You'll work primarily on the TRINANCE mobile app — designing and improving experiences across the product — with opportunities to contribute to our website and internal tools.
You'll work directly with our Senior Product Designer, the founders, and our developers. This is a role for someone who wants to learn the full product design process, not just push pixels on UI screens.
This internship runs for 4–5 months and is designed as a path into a full-time Product Designer role at TRINANCE for interns who do strong work.
What you'll do
Design flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI for the TRINANCE app
Contribute to website and internal dashboard design
Turn user problems into design solutions, and explain the reasoning behind them
Build and maintain reusable components as part of our design system
Work with developers to take designs from concept to shipped
Iterate based on feedback, testing, and changing product requirements
What we're looking for
Prior professional experience isn't required. Students and freshers with a genuine interest in product design are encouraged to apply.
You'll do well here if you:
Understand the fundamentals of UI/UX and product design
Are comfortable in Figma
Have a good eye for layout, typography, spacing, and hierarchy
Understand user flows and basic interaction design
Are curious about why products work the way they do
Take feedback well and iterate quickly
Communicate your design decisions clearly
Take ownership and move fast in a startup environment

You'll see the complete design process, end to end: Problem → Research → User flows → Wireframes → UI → Prototype → Feedback → Iteration → Development
Along the way you'll learn how designers work with founders and engineers to actually ship things — and you'll leave with portfolio work built on real product problems, not hypothetical case studies.
