Role Description The Assistant Manager Business Development will support growth initiatives by identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and contributing to sales and marketing plans for water treatment and beverage project solutions. This full-time, on-site role based in Rajkot involves conducting market research, preparing proposals and presentations, coordinating with internal technical and operations teams, and following up on leads to convert them into long-term partnerships. The role includes managing customer inquiries, participating in negotiations under senior guidance, tracking sales performance metrics, and maintaining accurate records in CRM or reporting tools. The Assistant Manager Business Development will also assist in organizing client visits, product demonstrations, and industry events to enhance brand visibility and expand the company’s market presence.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong business development and sales skills, including lead generation, pipeline management, and client relationship building.
Candidates should possess marketing and market analysis skills, such as understanding industry trends, competitor analysis, and basic knowledge of B2B marketing practices.
Candidates should possess communication and presentation skills, including clear written and verbal communication, negotiation support, and the ability to prepare professional proposals and reports.
Candidates should possess organizational and coordination skills, such as time management, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical, operations, and customer service teams.
Candidates should possess basic technical and commercial understanding of water treatment plants, beverage projects, or industrial equipment, with the ability to learn product features and benefits quickly.
Beneficial qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field, experience in industrial or capital equipment sales, proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools, and willingness to travel for client meetings and site visits as required.
