Role Description The BIM Engineer will be responsible for creating, managing, and updating Building Information Models for various construction and infrastructure projects. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating architectural, structural, and MEP models, preparing detailed construction drawings, and ensuring design accuracy and consistency across disciplines. The role involves collaborating with architects, civil engineers, project managers, and site teams to resolve design conflicts, support quantity estimation, and improve project planning. The BIM Engineer will also contribute to standardization of BIM processes, maintain documentation, and support quality and compliance requirements. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools and workflows.
Candidates should possess skills in preparing and interpreting detailed Construction Drawings.
Candidates should possess knowledge of Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) coordination within BIM environments.
Candidates should possess a solid understanding of Architecture and its integration with structural and MEP systems.
Candidates should possess a strong foundation in Civil Engineering principles relevant to building and infrastructure projects.
Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, or similar platforms.
Ability to identify and resolve clashes, coordinate multidisciplinary models, and maintain BIM standards.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field; relevant BIM certifications are an advantage.
Experience in the construction industry, especially with on-site teams and project workflows, is preferred.
