Role Description The Documentation Engineer is a full-time, on-site role located in Bengaluru. This role is responsible for creating, organizing, and maintaining high-quality technical documentation, including product manuals, inspection manual, process documents, and operational guidelines. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with R&D engineering and operations teams to gather technical information, translating complex design concepts into clear, user-friendly content, and updating documents to reflect changes in products or processes. The Documentation Engineer will also manage document control systems, ensure version accuracy, adhere to company standards, and support audits or reviews by providing complete and compliant documentation. Attention to detail, consistency in style and format, and adherence to timelines are key aspects of the role.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Technical Documentation, with the ability to structure and present information clearly.
Proficiency in Technical Writing and creating Manuals for internal teams and end users.
Experience with Document Management practices, including version control, indexing, and secure storage.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Familiarity with standard documentation tools (e.g., MS Office, PDF editors, documentation platforms or wikis).
Ability to work closely with technical teams, quickly understand complex concepts, and meet deadlines.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technical Communication, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
Experience in an industrial, engineering, or technology environment is an advantage.
