Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Mechanical Design Engineer role based in Bengaluru. The Mechanical Design Engineer will develop and refine mechanical components and assemblies, creating detailed 3D models and drawings using Solidworks and AutoCAD tools. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing design calculations, selecting materials, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and supporting prototype development and testing. The role also involves reviewing designs for manufacturability, quality, and compliance with relevant standards, as well as preparing technical documentation and participating in design reviews.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Mechanical Engineering and Design Engineering skills for developing robust mechanical solutions.
Candidates should possess Machine Design and Product Design skills for designing components, mechanisms, and complete products.
Candidates should possess Computer-Aided Design (CAD) skills for creating detailed models, drawings, and design revisions.
Relevant bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and industry standards.
Experience with tolerance analysis, material selection, and basic stress or strength calculations.
Effective communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills in a collaborative engineering environment.
Prior experience in manufacturing, industrial equipment, or product development is an advantage.
