About the Role:
We’re on the lookout for a Business Development Associate who will help travellers turn their dream
holidays into reality. You will engage with a highly qualified inbound user base and guide them through
the entire holiday planning journey from understanding their requirements to curating personalised
itineraries and completing bookings. This is primarily an inside sales role, where you will combine
consultative selling with travel planning. You will also use Voyaah’s internal systems, including CRM and
proprietary AI tools, to design and manage customised holiday itineraries.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Consultation & Sales: Engage with inbound leads via calls, WhatsApp, and email to understand travel preferences, recommend suitable holiday options, and convert enquiries into confirmed bookings.
Holiday Planning & Itinerary Creation: Design personalised travel itineraries using Voyaah’s internal tools and AI-powered systems, ensuring that each holiday is thoughtfully planned and tailored to customer preferences.
End-to-End Holiday Management: Manage the complete journey from enquiry to booking confirmation, ensuring a smooth and delightful experience for travellers throughout the planning process.
CRM & Process Management: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, manage lead pipelines, track follow-ups, and ensure proper usage of CRM and internal systems.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams including Product, Marketing, Operations, and Accounts to ensure seamless holiday planning, booking execution, and customer experience.
Who you are:
You have a Bachelor’s degree (not a Master’s) in Business Administration / Commerce / Marketing or a related field.
You have 0–4 years of experience in travel sales, customer engagement, or travel consulting roles.
You are comfortable speaking with customers and building rapport quickly.
You have strong communication and persuasion skills.
You are organised and capable of managing multiple customer conversations and travel plans simultaneously.
You are comfortable using digital tools such as CRM systems and internal platforms.
Bonus Points if:
You are passionate about travel and exploring destinations.
Have prior experience in travel sales, hospitality, or customer-facing roles.
You are curious about using technology and AI tools to enhance productivity.
