Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Software Test Engineer role based in Pune District. The Software Test Engineer will design, review, and maintain test cases and test scenarios for web and mobile applications. Responsibilities include executing manual and automated tests, reporting and tracking defects, and collaborating with software developers to clarify requirements and verify fixes. The role involves participating in test planning, regression testing, and ensuring that releases meet quality standards and business requirements. The Software Test Engineer will also contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and documentation.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Software Testing and Testing, including understanding of testing methodologies and life cycles.
Candidates should possess skills in Test Execution and Test Cases, with experience in creating, maintaining, and executing test scenarios.
Candidates should possess foundational knowledge of Software Development concepts to collaborate effectively with engineering teams.
Experience with defect tracking tools, test management tools, and basic automation frameworks is beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Ability to analyze requirements, document findings clearly, and communicate issues and suggestions to cross-functional teams.
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in an on-site, collaborative environment.
