Role Description The Tosca Automation Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru South. The person in this role will design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Tosca for SAP and related digital solutions, ensuring robust coverage across functional and integration scenarios. Daily responsibilities include analyzing requirements, creating and updating test cases and test data, executing automated test suites, and documenting results and defects in coordination with development and functional teams. The engineer will collaborate closely with solution architects and business analysts to refine test strategies, optimize test automation frameworks, and enhance regression testing efficiency. The role also involves troubleshooting test failures, improving automation standards, supporting continuous integration and delivery pipelines, and contributing to best practices within the quality engineering team.
Qualifications
Strong automation skills, including experience with Tosca and general Automation concepts applied to enterprise applications.
Technical foundation in Electrical Engineering or related engineering disciplines, with exposure to control systems and industrial environments.
Ability in Process Control and Robotics, with understanding of automated workflows, system interactions, and integration points.
Proficiency in Troubleshooting, including root-cause analysis of automation failures, environment issues, and integration defects.
Experience with test automation frameworks, CI/CD tools, and version control systems (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Azure DevOps) is preferred.
Familiarity with SAP landscapes, web and API testing, and integration testing in cloud or hybrid environments is an advantage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a structured approach to test design and execution.
Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate in cross-functional, on-site teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
