Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sourcing Manager role based in Navi Mumbai. The Sourcing Manager is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and managing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely procurement of goods and services at competitive prices. Daily responsibilities include analyzing market trends, preparing and issuing RFQs/RFPs, comparing quotations, and maintaining supplier databases and performance records. The role involves close collaboration with internal stakeholders or clients to understand requirements, optimize costs, and maintain quality standards. The Sourcing Manager also monitors inventory levels, manages procurement documentation, and ensures compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
Qualifications
Strong experience in sourcing, procurement, and supplier management, including vendor evaluation and contract negotiation.
Ability to analyze costs, compare quotations, and use basic financial and analytical tools to support purchasing decisions.
Solid understanding of supply chain processes, inventory management, and logistics coordination.
Proficiency in using spreadsheets, procurement software, and other digital tools for tracking orders and supplier performance.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills with suppliers and clients.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects or clients simultaneously.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field is preferred; relevant certifications in procurement or supply chain are an advantage.
Previous experience in a sourcing or purchasing role, ideally within manufacturing, services, or related sectors in or around Navi Mumbai.
