Summary:
Lead the design and implementation of enterprise Data Security and Data Protection solutions across cloud, SaaS, on-premise, and hybrid environments. Drive data protection strategy, security architecture, client engagements, and delivery of large-scale transformation programs while ensuring compliance with privacy and regulatory requirements.
Data Security Architect / Data Protection Lead
Roles & Responsibilities:
Act as the SME for Data Security, Data Protection, and Privacy solutions.
Design and implement DLP, data classification, discovery, encryption, tokenization, masking, and key management solutions.
Define enterprise data security architecture, standards, and governance frameworks.
Lead security assessments, architecture reviews, and data protection transformation programs.
Own delivery management, solution quality, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
Build strong client relationships, lead workshops, and act as a trusted advisor to client leadership.
Collaborate with business, technology, privacy, and security teams to address data protection requirements.
Mentor team members and manage delivery teams.
Professional & Technical Skills:
12+ years of Cyber Security experience with strong expertise in Data Security / Data Protection.
Hands-on experience with DLP, encryption, tokenization, masking, key management, and privacy controls.
Experience with Microsoft Purview, Netskope, Forcepoint, Symantec/Broadcom DLP, or similar platforms.
Strong understanding of GDPR, DPDP, PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, and related regulations.
Excellent client-facing, stakeholder management, and consulting skills.
Additional Requirements
Ability to work from client locations (5 days/week) as required.
Strong focus on client relationship building, advisory, and service delivery.
Experience leading large teams and managing complex security engagements.
