About Ekatva Festival

The festival brings together conscious brands, creators, communities, and culture enthusiasts to experience, explore, and engage with ideas shaping a more mindful lifestyle.
We are looking for a Sales & Marketing Intern who is proactive, organised, curious, and excited to work in a fast-paced event environment. This role will provide hands-on exposure to sales, partnerships, marketing, community building, and event execution.
About the Role
As a Sales & Marketing Intern, you will work closely with the Sales, Marketing, and Event teams to support Ekatva Festival's brand partnerships, community growth, and overall event promotion.
You will be involved in building databases, supporting sponsor and client deliverables, identifying potential partners and communities, and helping grow Ekatva's reach across relevant audiences.
Key Responsibilities
1. Database Building & Sales Support
Research and build databases of potential brands, exhibitors, sponsors, communities, colleges, creators, and relevant organisations.
Identify and research prospective partners across categories such as F&B, fashion, wellness, sustainability, lifestyle, design, and conscious living.
Maintain and regularly update lead and prospect databases.
Support the sales team with lead research, outreach, follow-ups, and tracking.
Assist in preparing basic sales decks, proposals, and partnership documents.
Keep track of outreach, responses, meetings, and conversions.
2. Client & Sponsor Deliverables
Support the team in tracking sponsor and partner deliverables before and during the festival.
Coordinate with internal teams such as design, marketing, and operations to ensure agreed deliverables are completed on time.
Maintain updated trackers for sponsor branding, social media integrations, stalls, passes, event mentions, and other commitments.
Assist with communication and follow-ups with sponsors and partners.
Support on-ground execution of partner deliverables during the festival.
3. Community Insider & Growth
Research and identify relevant communities, clubs, student groups, organisations, and networks that can help amplify Ekatva Festival.
Build and maintain a database of community partners and potential outreach groups.
Support WhatsApp, email, and community outreach initiatives.
Assist with campus and community activations.
Identify opportunities for collaborations, cross-promotions, and community partnerships.
Help grow Ekatva's community and reach through organic outreach and partnerships.
4. Marketing & Event Support
Assist with social media and promotional campaigns for Ekatva Festival.
Support influencer and creator outreach where required.
Assist with content distribution across relevant communities and platforms.
Support event-related research, coordination, and execution.
Assist the team with other marketing and event requirements as needed.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Number and quality of relevant leads added to the database.
Accuracy and regularity of database updates.
Number of qualified brands, communities, and partners identified.
Outreach and follow-up completion.
Timely tracking and execution of client/sponsor deliverables.
Number of community partnerships and outreach opportunities developed.
Contribution to community and event reach.
Timely completion of assigned sales and marketing tasks.
Ideal Candidate Profile
0–1 year of experience; freshers with relevant internships or projects are welcome.
Strong research and communication skills.
Good understanding of social media and digital platforms.
Comfortable working with Google Sheets/Excel and maintaining databases.
Organised and detail-oriented.
Proactive and comfortable with follow-ups.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Interested in events, marketing, sales, sustainability, conscious living, and community building.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
Willing to support the team during event days and activations.
Must-Haves
Strong ownership and willingness to learn.
Good follow-up and coordination skills.
Attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Comfortable with Google Workspace, especially Google Sheets.
Positive, energetic, and people-oriented approach.
Mumbai-based and available to support event-related activities.
