Role Description The Project Quantity Surveyor will work on-site in Bengaluru in a full-time capacity, supporting projects from initial design through completion. Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing Bills of Quantities (BOQs), estimating costs, and assisting in budget development for architectural and interior projects. The role involves monitoring expenditures, tracking variations, and maintaining up-to-date cost reports to support decision-making and project planning. The Project Quantity Surveyor will collaborate closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure cost-efficient delivery while maintaining quality and compliance with project specifications. The position also includes participation in tender processes, providing cost advice, and supporting value engineering initiatives.
Qualifications
Strong skills in BOQ preparation and quantity take-offs, with the ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
Proficiency in cost control and cost management, ensuring projects remain within approved budgets.
Preparing PERT CHARTS and follow up on the same
Bill Checking and Certification for Architectural and Interior related works
Preparation of COMPARITIVE STATEMENTS based on Tenders recieved
Ability to produce accurate and timely cost reporting, including variance analysis and recommendations.
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Experience in the architectural, interior design, or construction industry, preferably in a project-based environment.
Familiarity with relevant estimation software and MS Excel, CAD, SKETCHUP along with strong numerical and analytical skills.
Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in multidisciplinary teams on-site.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
