Azure CloudArchitect
leads and actively participates in the development and operation of a platform that enables products to talk to each other in a standard way.
Should be having strong hands-on development experience with advanced PowerShell scripting.
• Responsible for setting the platform vision with a clear roadmap, ensuring it aligns with digital product roadmap ambitions.
• Responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of a software or technology platform.
• Responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the platform, including monitoring performance, managing user accounts and access, and ensuring that the platform is running smoothly. • Accountable for the platform backlog (build, edit, and maintain) and for clearly communicating the backlog to products and other stakeholders.
• Accountable for platform prioritization based on needs from various products and release requirements.
• Responsible for complying with relevant frameworks and standards.
• Accountable for the digital platform release plan, including communication and setting expectations for the delivery of new features and functionalities.
• Responsible for managing key stakeholder engagement, such as developers and suppliers.
• Responsible for ensuring that digital platforms are efficient and simple for products and developers.
• Responsible for managing dependencies and blockers, improving digital platform delivery capabilities.
• Responsible for gathering insights to understand and empathize with the realities of products and developers.
• Responsible for identifying and creating measures of success to understand how the platform achieves desired outcomes. Tooling Kubernetes admin: HELM,Istio, Trivy, OPA, KEDA, ArgoCD, Velero, Packer, Docker. Terraform, Bicep, Powershell core, Azure Powershell Modules, Azure devops services, Github and Github actions, Visual Sudio code, ansible, Bash Scripting Requirements
• Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure
• Strong hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (powershell scripting, Terraform and Bicep advanced)
• Azure networking (VWAN Hub/Spoke, VNETs, Application Gateways, WAF, Load balancers, Private Endpoints, DNS, Firewall)
• Identity & access management (Entra ID, RBAC, PIM, managed identities, Service principals, App Registrations, Enterprise Applications)
• At least 5 years’ experience designing and implementing Azure resources
• At least 5 years’ experience with Azure Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• At least 5 years’ experience working with immutable infrastructure
• At least 3 years’ experience as a Scrum Master or a similar leadership role, leading a team of at least 4 people
• At least 5 years’ experience with Azure DevOps services, including self-hosted runners
• At least 5 years’ experience as a Kubernetes administrator includes troubleshooting, deployments
• Working knowledge of Rest API’s
• Working knowledge of Queues and topics (Event technologies)
