Role Description The Resident Medical Officer (RMO) will provide on-site medical care and clinical oversight for clients engaged in Healthy Owl Wellness programs in the Pune District. This full-time role involves conducting medical assessments, monitoring health parameters, and supporting the development of integrated wellness plans in collaboration with nutrition, mental health, and lifestyle coaching teams. The RMO will manage routine consultations, respond to medical concerns, and coordinate referrals to specialized care as needed. Daily responsibilities include maintaining accurate medical records, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols, and promoting safe, evidence-based practices across individual and corporate wellness initiatives. The role is on-site and requires close interaction with clients, wellness professionals, and partner physicians to deliver high-quality, holistic health services.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Medicine, with the ability to apply clinical knowledge within preventive and holistic wellness settings.
Demonstrated expertise in Patient Care, including conducting examinations, managing routine medical issues, and ensuring compassionate, ethical care.
Experience in Surgery or minor clinical procedures, with sound judgment in pre- and post-procedure care and referral decisions.
Ability to provide Training to staff and clients on health, safety, and wellness topics, supporting continuous learning and awareness.
Comfort Working with Physicians and multidisciplinary teams, collaborating effectively to coordinate care and optimize health outcomes.
Relevant medical degree (BAMS or BAHMS) with appropriate registration/licensure as required by local regulations.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse populations in a professional and respectful manner.
Organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate documentation, follow-up, and adherence to clinical protocols.
Interest in preventive medicine, lifestyle medicine, and corporate wellness; prior experience in wellness or occupational health is an advantage.
