Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Prepress Specialist role based in Bengaluru. The Prepress Specialist will prepare and inspect digital files for print production, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with customer specifications. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing preflight checks, adjusting layouts, color, and resolution, and collaborating with designers, print technicians, and packaging teams to ensure optimal output. The role involves creating and refining print and packaging designs for various formats, maintaining production standards, and troubleshooting prepress issues before jobs go to press. The Prepress Specialist will also contribute to process improvements and quality control to support timely and high-quality delivery.
Qualifications
Strong skills in prepress operations, including Pre-press and Preflight, with the ability to identify and correct file issues before printing.
Experience in Printing workflows and Print Design, including understanding of color management, file formats, and print production standards.
Proficiency in Packaging Design for various substrates and formats, with attention to structural integrity, branding, and regulatory requirements.
Hands-on experience with industry-standard prepress and design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Esko tools or similar) and workflows.
Strong attention to detail, quality-focused mindset, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced production environment.
Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with internal teams and external partners.
Relevant diploma or degree in Printing Technology, Graphic Design, or a related field; prior experience in a prepress or print production role is preferred.
