Role Description The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing end-to-end manufacturing operations of parking systems at HPIPL’s on-site facility in Noida. This full-time role includes planning and scheduling production, managing resources and materials, and ensuring products meet quality, safety, and ISO standards. The Production Manager coordinates closely with engineering, procurement, installation, and quality assurance teams to optimize workflows, reduce downtime, and meet project timelines. Day-to-day tasks involve supervising production staff, monitoring equipment performance, resolving operational issues, and implementing process improvements and automation where applicable. The role also includes maintaining accurate production reports, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives aligned with HPIPL’s innovation and sustainability goals.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong production planning and manufacturing operations skills, including capacity planning, workflow optimization, and resource allocation.
Candidates should possess skills in team leadership and people management, including supervising production staff, performance monitoring, and fostering a safe, inclusive work environment.
Candidates should possess quality assurance and process improvement skills, such as implementing ISO standards, conducting inspections, and using methodologies like 5S, Lean, or Six Sigma.
Candidates should possess technical and engineering-related skills, including familiarity with mechanical or industrial engineering concepts, automation systems, and production equipment maintenance coordination.
Candidates should possess project coordination and communication skills, including cross-functional collaboration, documentation, and clear written and verbal communication.
Candidates should possess health, safety, and compliance awareness, with the ability to implement safety protocols and comply with relevant manufacturing regulations.
Beneficial qualifications include a bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical, Industrial, or Production Engineering (or related field), experience in infrastructure or equipment manufacturing, and proficiency with ERP or production management software.
