Role Description This is a full-time Interior Designer role based in New Delhi, offered on a hybrid basis with a mix of in-office and work-from-home days. The Interior Designer will develop design concepts, prepare mood boards, and create detailed space plans for residential and commercial projects. Day-to-day tasks include meeting with clients to understand requirements, preparing 2D/3D layouts, coordinating FF&E selections, and producing construction drawings and specifications. The role involves collaborating with architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure design intent is accurately executed on-site within schedule and budget. The Interior Designer will also support site visits, quality checks, and documentation, while maintaining project files and presentations for internal and client reviews.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Interior Design and Architecture skills, with the ability to translate client needs into practical, creative design solutions.
Candidates should possess skills in Space Planning and FF&E selection, including layout optimization and choosing appropriate furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
Candidates should possess skills in preparing Construction Drawings and technical documentation, ensuring designs can be accurately implemented on site.
Candidates should possess proficiency with design and visualization tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar), and common office software for documentation and presentations.
Candidates should possess strong communication, client-facing, and collaboration skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Relevant degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field is preferred, along with prior experience in residential or commercial interior projects.
