Chief Operating Officer
Core Responsibilities:
Partner with CEO to develop and execute company strategy, serving as trusted advisor and sounding board
Translate CEO's vision into executable business plans, measurable outcomes, and operational strategies
Oversee daily operations across all departments ensuring alignment with strategic objectives
Drive operational efficiency initiatives and continuous improvement to enhance performance and productivity
Establish and monitor KPIs across all business units, implementing data-driven decision-making
Lead executive team in CEO's absence, maintaining continuity of leadership
Manage capital investments and expenses to achieve investor targets for growth and profitability
Ensure effective recruiting, onboarding, professional development, performance management, and retention
Analyze internal operations and identify areas for process enhancement and optimization
Implement business strategies and plans aligned with short- and long-term objectives
Oversee operations, HR, accounting, and partner with CEO on sales management and budgeting
Build and maintain relationships with key customers, clients, partners, and stakeholders
Ensure compliance with national and local business regulations
Monitor performance with tracking software and prepare detailed updates and forecasts
Drive business development and growth initiatives
Support transformation programs and operational expansion
Typical Profile:
20+ years of progressive operational leadership experience across multiple functions
18+ years in executive leadership roles (C-suite, EVP, or equivalent)
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, or related field; MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred
Proven track record scaling operations, driving growth, and improving operational efficiency
Deep expertise in operations management, supply chain, process optimization, and performance management
Strong knowledge of business planning, financial management, and regulatory compliance
Experience managing cross-functional teams and complex organizational structures
Demonstrated ability to translate strategy into action and deliver measurable results
Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills
Strategic thinking with hands-on execution capability and strong problem-solving skills
Experience in relevant industry (technology, manufacturing, services, healthcare, etc.)
