Company Overview: Abhay Carriers is a food and beverage company based in Alwar, Rajasthan, and the maker of Sariska Mustard Oil. We are currently expanding our product portfolio and working towards building premium food products rooted in traditional Indian tastes and Rajasthan's culinary heritage. As a growing business, this internship offers an opportunity to work closely with the founder and gain practical exposure to product development, market research, packaging, vendor coordination, sourcing, and new product launches.
Role Description: As a Product Development Intern, you will support the development and launch of new food products, with a particular focus on market research, product concepts, packaging and supplier/vendor coordination. This is a suitable opportunity for someone who wants to understand how consumer food products are researched and developed in a real business environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct market and competitor research.
Research new product ideas, trends and consumer preferences.
Identify and research potential suppliers and vendors.
Assist with packaging research and development.
Coordinate with vendors for quotations, samples and product requirements.
Assist with product-related research, documentation and certifications.
Prepare basic reports and presentations based on research findings.
Qualifications:
Pursuing or recently completed BBA, MBA, Food Technology, Food Science, Agriculture, Marketing, Commerce or a related field.
Freshers and students are welcome.
Interest in FMCG, food products and product development.
Skills Required:
Good research and analytical skills
Basic Excel/Google Sheets knowledge
Good communication skills
Attention to detail
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
