About Dusker Dynamics
Dusker Dynamics is a defence technology company focused on developing advanced defence and security systems designed to anticipate, adapt to, and counter emerging threats. Our work combines rigorous engineering, multidisciplinary system design, rapid experimentation, and real-world deployment.
At Dusker Dynamics, engineers work on complex, mission-critical systems where precision, reliability, safety, performance, and operational effectiveness are central to every engineering decision.
We are building a team of engineers who want to solve difficult defence engineering problems and contribute to the development of next-generation indigenous defence technologies.
About the Role
Dusker Dynamics is looking for a highly experienced Senior Defence Systems Engineer to lead the architecture, integration, verification, and validation of advanced defence systems.
This is a senior technical role responsible for translating operational requirements into complete system architectures and ensuring successful integration across hardware, electronics, embedded systems, software, sensors, communication systems, control systems, and mechanical subsystems.
The engineer will work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams, customers, suppliers, technical partners, and defence stakeholders throughout the complete product-development lifecycle.
The ideal candidate has strong experience in defence, aerospace, military systems, autonomous platforms, avionics, radar, electronic warfare, missile systems, unmanned systems, or other high-reliability engineering environments.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end systems engineering lifecycle, from concept development and requirements definition to system integration, qualification, validation, and deployment.
Translate operational and customer requirements into clear system-level technical requirements and engineering specifications.
Develop and maintain system architectures, subsystem definitions, interfaces, functional architectures, and technical baselines.
Lead multidisciplinary integration involving mechanical systems, electronics, embedded software, sensors, actuators, communication systems, control systems, navigation systems, and real-time computing platforms.
Perform system-level trade studies, feasibility studies, performance analysis, risk analysis, and technical decision-making.
Define and manage Interface Control Documents (ICDs) between subsystems and external platforms.
Establish verification and validation strategies for complex defence systems.
Develop and review test plans, qualification procedures, acceptance criteria, verification matrices, and system validation documentation.
Support prototype development, laboratory testing, environmental qualification, field trials, and system acceptance testing.
Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of complex system-level failures.
Participate in and lead major engineering reviews including:
System Requirements Review (SRR)
Preliminary Design Review (PDR)
Critical Design Review (CDR)
Test Readiness Review (TRR)
Qualification and Acceptance Reviews
Ensure compliance with applicable defence, aerospace, reliability, safety, environmental, electromagnetic compatibility, and engineering standards.
Work closely with program managers to identify technical risks, schedule dependencies, integration challenges, and mitigation strategies.
Review engineering documentation and ensure strong configuration management and technical traceability.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers.
Coordinate technical activities with vendors, suppliers, OEMs, laboratories, research institutions, and technology partners.
Support customer discussions, technical presentations, design reviews, demonstrations, and defence trials.
Contribute to the development of reusable engineering processes, design standards, testing frameworks, and internal systems-engineering practices.
Required Qualifications

Familiarity with cybersecurity and secure system-design principles for mission-critical systems.
Experience working directly with customers, defence users, technical authorities, program managers, and government stakeholders.
Previous ownership of a complete system, major subsystem, platform, or defence engineering program.
Experience supporting field trials, demonstrations, qualification campaigns, or operational deployment.
Relevant patents, technical publications, defence product development experience, or successfully deployed systems will be an advantage.
Familiarity with the Indian defence ecosystem, indigenous defence development programs, defence procurement processes, testing agencies, certification requirements, and defence manufacturing environment will be highly valued.
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for engineers who are comfortable taking ownership of complex technical problems rather than working within narrowly defined boundaries.
The ideal candidate should be capable of moving between system-level thinking and detailed engineering, identifying technical risks early, challenging assumptions, and making engineering decisions based on evidence, testing, and operational requirements.
You should be comfortable working in an environment where systems are developed iteratively, tested rigorously, and continuously improved.
