Role Description The Electronic Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi. The technician will assemble, test, and repair electronic instruments and components, including circuit boards and related hardware. Daily responsibilities include diagnosing faults, performing soldering work, carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance, and ensuring equipment meets performance and safety standards. The role involves reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics, maintaining accurate service records, and collaborating with engineering and production teams to resolve technical issues. The technician will also support continuous improvement efforts by identifying recurring problems and suggesting practical technical solutions.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Electronics Technology and practical knowledge of Electricity for industrial and laboratory equipment.
Hands-on Soldering skills for through-hole and surface-mount components, with attention to quality and safety.
Proficient Troubleshooting abilities for electronic circuits, modules, and systems using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other test instruments.
Experience in Maintenance & Repair of electronic instruments, including preventive maintenance and documentation of service activities.
Diploma or degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
Ability to read and interpret circuit diagrams, wiring layouts, and technical manuals.
Good organizational skills, accuracy in record-keeping, and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with engineering, production, and customer support teams.
Prior experience in instrument manufacturing, calibration, or service environments is an advantage.
