Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Construction Project Manager role based in Ernakulam. The Construction Project Manager oversees the day-to-day management of construction projects, including planning schedules, coordinating site activities, and ensuring work is executed according to drawings, specifications, and quality standards. Responsibilities include managing project timelines, monitoring budgets and resource utilization, supervising contractors and subcontractors, and maintaining regular communication with architects, consultants, and clients. The role involves conducting site meetings, tracking progress, identifying and resolving issues, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and local building codes. The Construction Project Manager prepares and updates project documentation, reports, and approvals, supporting the successful delivery of projects from pre-construction to handover.
Qualifications
Demonstrated skills in Construction Project Management and Construction Management, with experience overseeing end-to-end construction activities.
Strong Project Management and Project Coordination abilities to manage schedules, resources, stakeholders, and documentation.
Proficiency in Budgeting, cost control, and financial tracking to ensure projects are delivered within agreed budgets.
Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and construction best practices, preferably within the Ernakulam or broader Kerala context.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills for managing multidisciplinary teams and client interactions.
Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings and use relevant project management or construction software.
Proven capacity to work on-site full-time, handle multiple priorities, and solve problems in a fast-paced construction environment.
