Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Welder role based in Gurugram. The Welder is responsible for performing welding operations on various metal components and structures using appropriate welding techniques, following technical drawings, work instructions, and safety standards. Daily tasks include setting up and operating welding equipment, preparing and aligning materials, inspecting welds for quality, and performing basic repairs or rework as needed. The role requires careful handling of tools and materials, adherence to safety procedures and PPE requirements, and collaboration with supervisors and team members to meet production schedules. The Welder may also assist in routine equipment maintenance, material handling, and continuous improvement activities to enhance efficiency and quality.
Qualifications
Demonstrated proficiency in common Welding techniques, including experience with industrial welding applications.
Hands-on experience with Arc Welding and TIG Welding, with the ability to select appropriate processes based on job requirements.
Practical skills in MIG Welding and related fabrication work, including joining and repair of metal structures.
Basic understanding of Materials used in welding (e.g., steel, alloys) and their properties, preparation, and handling.
Knowledge of safety standards and best practices in welding, including use of PPE and safe equipment operation.
Ability to read and interpret welding symbols, technical drawings, and work instructions.
Previous experience in industrial, construction, or manufacturing environments is preferred.
Relevant technical certification or vocational training in welding is an advantage.
Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and ability to work in a team-oriented, on-site setting.
