Role Description The Deputy Project Manager will support the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing projects from initiation to completion. This full-time, on-site role in Bihar, India involves monitoring project timelines, assisting with resource allocation, and following up with vendors, expeditors, and internal teams to ensure on-time delivery of materials and services. The role includes overseeing inspection schedules, coordinating logistics, maintaining project documentation, and preparing status reports for management and stakeholders. The Deputy Project Manager will help track risks, support quality and safety standards, and facilitate clear communication between project team members, clients, and suppliers.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Project Management skills, including planning, scheduling, coordination, and basic risk management.
Candidates should possess Expeditor and Expediting skills to follow up on orders, monitor progress, and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
Candidates should possess Inspection-related skills, including coordinating inspections, understanding basic quality requirements, and managing inspection records.
Candidates should possess Logistics Management skills to coordinate transportation, monitor shipment status, and support inventory and material handling processes.
Relevant experience in project coordination or deputy project management in industrial, infrastructure, or construction environments is beneficial.
Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, business, or a related field is preferred; equivalent practical experience will be considered.
Proficiency in basic project management and office software (e.g., MS Office, spreadsheets, project tracking tools) and willingness to learn new systems.
