Role Description
This is a full-time, remote Internal Team – Founder Office position, offered on an unpaid basis for individuals seeking impactful experience in cyber intelligence and nonprofit leadership. The role involves supporting the Founder’s office with strategic initiatives, coordinating internal projects, and assisting in research and documentation related to cybersecurity, AI, and global partnerships. Day-to-day responsibilities may include preparing briefs and presentations, drafting formal communications, organizing virtual meetings, and maintaining project trackers and reports. The individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to thought leadership content, and help streamline processes that align with HackHalt’s four-pillar strategy. This role is ideal for candidates looking to gain exposure to senior decision-making, nonprofit governance, and cyber innovation in a mission-driven environment.
Qualifications
Strong research, analytical thinking, and information synthesis skills relevant to cybersecurity, technology, or public policy.
Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing reports, presentations, and formal correspondence.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain organized project documentation in a remote work setting.
Comfort with digital collaboration tools (e.g., office productivity suites, project management platforms, video conferencing tools).
Demonstrated interest in cybersecurity, AI, digital safety, or nonprofit/social impact work.
Ability to work independently, take initiative, and collaborate with diverse, global stakeholders in a respectful and inclusive manner.
Relevant academic background or ongoing studies in fields such as cybersecurity, computer science, management, public policy, or related disciplines is beneficial.
Prior experience in internships, student bodies, or volunteer roles involving coordination, operations, or strategic support is a plus.
