SkillNexa Global is looking for an experienced AI Instructor / Tutor to join our growing team and help teach the next generation of AI professionals.
We are looking for someone who combines strong industry experience in Artificial Intelligence with excellent teaching and mentoring abilities.
Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in AI / Machine Learning / Data Science
Work Mode: Remote
Engagement: Part-time / Contract
Compensation: Based on experience
What You'll Teach
The instructor will primarily support our AI Foundations pathway, which includes:
• Introduction to Artificial Intelligence & Intelligent Systems
• History and Types of AI
• AI applications and intelligent systems
• Python Programming for AI
• Variables, data types, conditions, loops and functions
• Python libraries and Python for AI
• Data fundamentals
• Structured & unstructured data
• Data collection and datasets
• Data visualization and introductory data analysis
• AI Bias, Privacy and Responsible AI
• AI Safety and ethical considerations
• AI project ideation and solution architecture
• Prototype development, testing and evaluation
• Technical documentation and final AI project presentation
The instructor may also have opportunities to support advanced stages of the SkillNexa AI pathway, including Machine Learning, Data Science, Computer Vision, Deep Learning, NLP, Generative AI and AI Engineering.
🔹 Required Skills & Experience
Must have:
✅ 5+ years of professional experience working in AI, Machine Learning, Data Science or a closely related field
✅ Strong Python programming skills
✅ Practical understanding of AI and Machine Learning concepts
✅ Experience working with datasets and data analysis
✅ Understanding of AI model development and evaluation
✅ Knowledge of AI ethics, bias, privacy and responsible AI
✅ Experience developing or implementing real-world AI projects
✅ Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to students
✅ Strong communication and presentation skills
✅ Ability to teach through practical examples, demonstrations and projects
✅ Comfortable conducting live, instructor-led online classes
⭐ Preferred
Experience with:
• Machine Learning frameworks such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow or PyTorch
• Pandas, NumPy and Matplotlib
• Jupyter Notebook / Google Colab
• Data visualization and exploratory data analysis
• Generative AI / LLMs
• Computer Vision or NLP
• Cloud-based AI platforms
• AI project development and mentoring
• Teaching students at the high-school or early undergraduate level
What We're Looking For
We are not looking for someone who only knows AI theoretically.
Our instructors should be able to take a concept such as "What is Machine Learning?" or "How does an AI system use data?" and turn it into an engaging learning experience using:
Concept → Demonstration → Hands-on Activity → Project → Assessment
