Role Description This is a part-time hybrid role for a Yoga Instructor based in Indore, with a combination of in-person classes and some work-from-home activities such as virtual sessions or class planning. The Yoga Instructor will conduct group and individual yoga classes, demonstrating correct postures, breathing techniques, and safe alignment for different levels of practitioners. Responsibilities include planning class sequences, adapting sessions to participant needs, maintaining a welcoming and inclusive environment, and monitoring student progress. The instructor will also provide guidance on basic lifestyle and mindfulness practices, support client inquiries, and collaborate with the facility or client organization to schedule classes and workshops. The role requires reliable attendance for in-person sessions in Indore and the ability to use online tools for remote teaching and communication when needed.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Yoga Instruction skills, with proficiency in styles such as Ashtanga and Vinyasa.
Candidates should possess effective Teaching skills, including the ability to structure classes and guide diverse groups safely.
Candidates should possess clear and empathetic Communication skills to engage participants and provide constructive feedback.
Certification or formal training in yoga from a recognized institution is preferred.
Experience conducting group classes or one-on-one sessions, ideally in a studio, fitness center, or online setting.
Ability to adapt practices for different ages, fitness levels, and health conditions while maintaining safety standards.
Comfort with basic digital tools or platforms for scheduling, online sessions, and client communication.
Commitment to professional ethics, inclusivity, and respectful interaction with all participants.
