As an Operations Engineer, your day typically involves overseeing the smooth functioning of production systems and services, ensuring they meet operational requirements and service agreements. You will be actively engaged in monitoring system performance, addressing any issues that arise, and coordinating with various teams to maintain service continuity. Your role is pivotal in managing the delivery aspects of operations, ensuring that all processes align with organizational standards and client expectations. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining high service quality throughout the operational lifecycle.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of services.
Monitor system health and proactively identify potential risks to prevent service disruptions.
Document operational procedures and share knowledge to support team development.
Assist junior team members in understanding operational processes and troubleshooting techniques.
Professional & Technical Skills:
Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Vmware Virtualization Administration.
Experience in managing virtualized environments and optimizing resource allocation.
Strong understanding of virtualization concepts, including virtual machine lifecycle management and storage.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to virtual infrastructure efficiently.
Familiarity with performance monitoring tools and capacity planning within virtualized systems.
Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery strategies in virtual environments.
Additional Information:
The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Vmware Virtualization Administration.
This position is based at our BDC7A - SEZ office.
A 15 years full time education is required.
