Role Description The Sponsorship Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Bengaluru Area. This role is responsible for identifying, approaching, and securing sponsorships for ICSA events, with a focus on building long-term relationships with corporate partners and decision makers. Day-to-day activities include generating and qualifying leads, conducting outreach via calls, emails, and meetings, preparing tailored sponsorship proposals, and managing the sales pipeline from prospecting to closing. The Sponsorship Sales Manager will collaborate with event and marketing teams to align sponsorship offerings with event formats, ensure sponsor deliverables are met, and track performance against revenue targets. The role also involves account management, maintaining regular contact with sponsors, gathering feedback, and exploring opportunities for upselling and renewal.
Qualifications
Strong Sponsorship Sales and Sales skills, with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
Experience in New Business Development and Lead Generation for events, conferences, or related services.
Proficiency in Account Management, including relationship building, retention, and upselling.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple opportunities, and prioritize effectively.
Comfort with CRM tools and basic sales reporting and forecasting.
Knowledge of B2B event, conference, or media industries is an advantage.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
